The old prison property south of Third Street has soccer fields under development. Chillicothe City Administrator Darin Chappell says the city has allowed use of the property, but this is not a “City” project.
Chappell says it will be maintained by the Soccer Club.
He says this is not turning the property into a park.
Chappell says there are no current plans to create any designated parking areas on the property.
