Hornets Soccer 0-2-1 at Moberly Tournament

The Chillicothe Soccer team lost two games and tied one in the two-day weekend Moberly Tournament.
On Friday Chillicothe tied with Moberly with a direct kick goal by Dalton Ripley in the 70th minute. Jaxon Albertson had 11 saves.
On Saturday Mexico edged Chillicothe 3-2. Mason Baxter scored both goals for the Hornets with assists from Ben Cueni-Smith and Drake Cosgrove. Mexico scored the winning goal in the 68th minute. Jaxon Albertson had 4 saves.
Kirksville then beat Chillicothe 8 to 3. Scoring for the Hornets was Kaleb Mullikin off a Mason Baxter assist from a corner kick. Drake Cosgrove off a Baxter assist and Wyatt Brandsgaard off a Cosgrove assist. Albertson had four assists.
