he Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team scored 17 runs off of 16 hits and rolled to a 17-1 four inning win at Lexington.
Chillicothe scored five in the second and six runs in both the third and fourth innings.
Halle Rucker held Lexington to one earned run off three hits with five strike outs and no walks.
At the plate Kirsten Dunn and Brooke Horton had a double and a single each, Mollie Ellis and Dawsyn Lightner each had a double.
Picking up three singles was Kennedy Corzette. two singles for Sophia Luetticke, and one each for Abby Jones, Kaylee Munson, Kinlei Boley, Kiley Kirkpatrick, and Lexi Walker.
Coach Mike Jones complemented his team, saying they played very well for the second game in a row. He said the Lady Hornets played well on defense and hit the ball very hard.
