Chillicothe Police responded to about 140 calls for service over the weekend. Some of the calls include checking on flooded roads and assisting with traffic for the Homecoming Game Saturday.
Sunday:
11:53 am, Officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services in the 500 block of Elmdale Dr. on a medical call.
12:05 pm, Officers took a report of stealing in the 200 block of Gale St. The investigation is on-going.
3:33 pm, Officers spoke with a citizen at the Police Department about a possible stolen vehicle. Officers discovered the vehicle was not stolen.
7:35 pm, Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. Officers did not discover a crime
7:48 pm, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 100 block of Brunswick St. Officers did not discover a crime.
8:01 pm, Officers checked on a citizen in the 200 block of Locust St. The person advised they did not need assistance.
11:40 pm, Officers assisted employees at a business in the 2700 block of N. Washington St.
Saturday
12:40 am, Officer removed a dead deer in the 2000 block of N. Washington St. The deer had been struck by a vehicle.
2:33 am, Officer checked the well-being of someone in a parked at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. The vehicle was running and lights were on with the driver slumped forward. The 39-year-old driver was contacted and arrested for drug and paraphernalia possession. They were processed and released.
3:17 am, Officers were requested by another agency to attempt to locate local residents and check the well-being of family members. Unable to make contact at residence.
1:43 pm, Officer spoke with young bicycle riders in the 2600 block of N. Washington Street, about dangers of riding on highway.
1:55 pm, Officers responded to the area of Jackson and Vine Streets in reference a dog fight. Dogs were separated and Animal Control was contacted.
6:19 pm, Officers and Emergency Services responded to the 900 block of Webster Street where someone had ingested isopropyl alcohol. They were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
