The Livingston County Library’s 7th annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest begins Tuesday, October 1st. Jody Moore, the Children’s Department Director, says there are several age categories in the contest.
Moore says they will have prizes in each category and everyone will receive something when they pick up their pumpkin later in the month.
Pumpkins need to be brought into the Library by the 19th. She says the judging will be the following week.
Moore says while there is no set theme for the contest, literary-based themes are always a good idea.
