Routine maintenance will close the Route KK bridge over Muddy Creek daily beginning Wednesday. The Missouri Department of Transportation says for the next two weeks, crews will close the bridge daily, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm to work on the bridge cap and pilings. Work is expected to be completed by October 17th.
The bridge is located east of Chula, between Route K and Route BB. The Muddy Creek Bridge was built in 1960 and carries approximately 234 vehicles a day.
