Chillicothe’s Girls Tennis doubles team of Hunter Keithley and Hannah Zimmerman won all four of their matches to win the Conference doubles championship, the third one for Keithley.
The duo beat Benton 8-1, Lafayette 8-1, St Pius #1 doubles team in the semifinals 6-0, 6-1 and then beat St Pius #2 doubles team 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
#2 doubles for Chillicothe Macy Cavanah and Delaney May beat Cameron 8-0, lost a close match to Savannah 8-9 (5-7) and lost to Benton 5-8
In singles, #1 Megan Sisson beat Benton 8-2, lost to #1 seed from St Pius 0-8 and lost to Lafayette 3-8.
Chillicothe’s #2 singles Leah Lourenco lost to Lafayette 2-8 and lost to LeBlond 2-8.
As a team, Chillicothe places second behind St Pius X.
St Pius X finished 1st and 2nd in singles.
Chillicothe competes in team Tennis Districts at home next week.
