A detainee at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail was recently transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections. Twenty-four-year-old Sease Michael Beard was taken to prison in St. Joseph on a parole violation warrant.
Beard was arrested after a recent incident that included a stolen vehicle in Chillicothe and alleged resisting arrest on a chase involving area law enforcement officers.
Beard had been on parole for a conviction for a charge of violence to a department of corrections employee or inmate. Sheriff Steve Cox says the Livingston County Courts will minimize transportation costs for court appearances by using a video court service when possible.
