The Grand River remains well above flood stage at Sumner to Brunswick.
At Chillicothe, the river has fallen back below flood stage.
At Sumner, flood stage is 26 feet. Moderate flooding is expected to continue until Sunday and the river is forecast to drop below flood stage of 26 feet Sunday morning. The Grand River at Sumner crested at 36.17 feet Tuesday and was at 32.2 feet Saturday morning.
At Brunswick, Minor flooding continues and the river is near the expected crest of 26.4 feet. The reading Friday evening was 26.25 feet. Flood stage at Brunswick is 19 feet. Flooding is expected to continue at Brunswick until early Monday morning.

The Missouri Department of Transportation’s list of flooded roadways is down to three in the local area. That list includes:
Carroll County:
US 65 closed south of Carrollton
Chariton County,
Route M closed from the Grand River to Schluter Avenue,
Route J closed south of Agee Avenue
