The State Historical Society of Missouri is working on ways to commemorate our state’s bicentennial in 2021. As part of this My Missouri 2021 project, a photography contest is taking place. Kirsten Mouton from the Livingston County Library says the group has invited amateur and professional photographers to submit “snapshots” of their county.
After review at the state level, a final 200 photographs will be selected and included in an online exhibit and a physical display that will travel around the state.
Mouton says there are some requirements for the photos that are entered.
The deadline for photograph submission is November 1st. Check the requirements at the official website https://missouri2021.org/my-missouri.
