Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary announced $5,000 in scholarships were awarded to 10 students pursuing degrees in the health care field. The 2019 winners include:
Dean Adkins III, Sydney Bottorff, Cassidy Cotton, Carleigh Crawford, Carly Gardner, Kaleigh Hoerrmann, Rebecca Myrick, Lauren Price, Shyanne Rosenbaum, and Kiley Stillwell
Each recipient received a $500 scholarship earlier this year. The 2019 HMC Auxiliary Scholarship recipients also received additional funds through the generosity of the Healthcare Services Group Charitable Foundation Matching Scholarship Fund and the HMC Medical Staff Harkness Library Fund. Check totals were $1100 to each recipient.
Twenty students applied for the ten scholarships that are available. The 2020 application process will begin in mid-February. For more information, contact the Lindy Chapman at 660-214-8107.
