Temperatures today will struggle to get into the upper 40’s for highs. National Weather Service Meteorologist Scott Blair says tonight we will drop below the freezing mark.
If you have time today, you may want to take some precautions with outdoor plants and fixtures.
For the plants, take them inside if possible and if not, cover them with a sheet or light blanket to keep some of the ground warmth from escaping. It could extend their growing cycle a few more days.
The good news is there is no precipitation in the forecast, so there should be no icing.
