The Chillicothe City Council met in regular session Monday night and considered four items from the agenda.
The first item was the bid for equipment for the new police cars. The council chose to table the items because the bid contained estimates instead of actual “hard” amounts. They will consider this again at the next meeting.
Rodney Mouton from the Heritage Preservation Commission presented a request for the City of Chillicothe to be a pass-through on funds donated to the commission. The funds are to recognized individuals in the Chillicothe Hall of Fame.
The council approved the request.
The Council also approved the Airport Runway Project amendments to the contract with MoDOT.
The Mayor also announced a workshop will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 pm at City Hall. The workshop is to discuss current and upcoming issues for the city.
