The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the last week of October includes several arrests.
Incident Reports:
Sunday and Monday Deputies spent significant time working with the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a potentially dangerous detainee issue with concerns for safety and potential escape plot. The prosecuting attorney was notified and the matter remains under investigation while additional safety measures have been added.
Thursday the sheriff’s Office investigated a location where someone had previously attempted to force entry into an outbuilding. Nothing was reported missing. Investigation continues.
Most Wanted updates:
Wednesday a new most wanted was added and later arrested. 28-year-old Stephanie Marie Masters Smith was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Stealing-$750 or more. She was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Other Arrests:
Monday, 49-year-old Carol Ann Head of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. She was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Monday, deputies and Chillicothe Police arrested 34-year-old Charles Robert Smith of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on Possession of Controlled Substance. He was also taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Wednesday, deputies arrested 39-year-old Gaylord D. Humphrey of Trenton on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on Possession of Controlled Substance. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Thursday, 65-year-old James Edward Gates of Chillicothe surrendered on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Sodomy-2nd degree. He posted bond and was released.
