Daylight Savings Time Ends

Tonight we “Fall Back…” that’s right, Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 Sunday morning. That means we need to set our clocks back one hour. Of course, most people will reset their clocks before going to bed Saturday night. The good news is that will give you an extra hour of sleep.
Captain Tracy Bradley from the Chillicothe fire Department reminds us to take care of some home safety items.

If your detectors are hard wired, it is still a good time to check them. And don’t forget to check that they are still within the expiration date.
Bradley says it’s also a good time to go over your fire safety plan.

Remember tonight, before you go to bed, set your clocks back one hour and change the batteries in the smoke detectors at the same time.
