Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to a house fire at 1227 Jameson Street. The call came in about 3:45 am and the fire crew arrived in two minutes to find the house filled with smoke.
The fire crew entered the house to find fire in the ceiling and in the floor. They also found the floor was weak and backed out to take a defensive approach, using 8,000 gallons of water to put out the fire.
The report states there was no one living in the house at the time and the fire was extinguished safely,
The fire crew was on the scene for about three and a half hours.
