Chillicothe Police responded to 94 calls for service Wednesday. The report includes two accidents and several other incidents.
3:18 am, Officers assisted a motorist in the 600 block of W. Business 36 Hwy.
4:22 am, Alarm at a business in the 400 block of W. Business 36 Hwy. Alarm malfunction.
9:54 am, an officer assisted the Children’s Division on an investigation.
10:00 am, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a call in the 1700 block of Morningside Drive.
11:37 am, Officers checked a report of a dog in a vehicle in the 600 block of Locust Street. A citation was issued.
12:38 pm, At the Police Department, officers took a report of a missing pistol. The pistol had been taken from a vehicle that was involved in a traffic crash. Information was entered into the law enforcement computer system.
1:01 pm, Officer checked the area of the 2600 block of N. Fair for a reported unlicensed driver. Officer was unable to locate the violator.
2:02 pm, Report of a possible disturbance between occupants of a car on N. Highway 65. Officers unable to locate suspect vehicle.
3:27 pm, Officer investigated a two-vehicle accident at Webster and Washington. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and a driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
5:49 pm, Report of someone inside an apartment building at Jackson and Elm Streets. It was the property owner.
7:17 pm, Property dispute in the 1100 block of Bryan Street. No report.
7:58 pm, Officers worked traffic control in the area of Thompson Drive and Washington Street where a deer had been struck by a vehicle. Deer is off the roadway.
10:10 pm, Officers checked into a suspicious acting person on Elmdale Road. That person was found to reside in the area.
