A two-vehicle accident left one driver injured Saturday evening. State Troopers report 57-year-old Jeffrey Kipp of Kingston was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries from the accident that happened at about 6:55 pm on Missouri 117, at US 69 in Clinton County. The report states 65-year-old Barbara Carpenter of Cameron was northbound on US 69 and failed to stop at the stop sign, and struck the Kipp vehicle on the passenger side. Both drivers were wearing safety belts. Carpenter was not injured.
