Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to a structure fire at 1462 Trenton Road, Monday morning. The call came in about 9:45 and the fire crew arrived in 4 minutes to find smoke coming from the roof. The entered the house and found no fire and then went to the attic area where they found fire near the chimney.
One-thousand gallons of water and foam were used to put out the fire in the attic.
The fire crew also found a large trash pile on fire on the property about 100 yards from the house and used 700 gallons of water to put out that fire.
The fire crew was on the scene of the fire for about 80 minutes.
