A flip of a coin Tuesday afternoon helped determine which school would post the Basketball post-season District Tournament that will include Chillicothe.
Chillicothe is again in the same class and district with the same teams as last year that played at Lafayette County-Higginsville.
In a recent meeting of athletic directors from participating schools, four schools voted for Lafayette County – Higginsville. Another four schools voted for Chillicothe to host the district tournament.
A flip of the coin turned up heads, giving Chillicothe the duty of hosting the post season district tournament for Class 3 District 14.
Boys and girls teams assigned to the tournament are Brookfield, Carrollton, Chillicothe, Lafayette County – Higginsville, Lexington, Richmond, St Paul Lutheran of Concordia and Trenton.
