The 10th annual Small Business Saturday is this weekend and MainStreet Chillicothe will have a special event beginning Saturday morning to encourage you to shop local. Tamera Tropf, a senior at Braymer High School who is in the Hospitality and Tourism Class at Grand River Tech says the no-cost event will be held and participants will have opportunities to win prizes.
Tropf says there is no purchase necessary to participate. The main idea is to get you into the local shops to see what they offer.
She says the Shop Hop WILL be held Saturday.
You do not need to be present to win, you just need to drop off your passport and contact information, and if you are a winner, you will be contacted.
The Main Street Chillicothe Shop Hop is Saturday morning, starting with a breakfast at 8:30 am at Silvermoon Plaza.
