Two accidents involving area residents were investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol Thursday.
In Ray County at about 9:30 am, a single-vehicle accident left the driver with minor injuries. Fifty-two-year-old Jean Falke of Norborne was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment following the accident on Highway 10 near Young road. According to the report, Falke was westbound and ran off the right side of the road and overcorrected. The car went off the left side fo the road and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. Falk was not wearing a safety belt.
In Daviess County at about 11:35 am, a two-vehicle accident left one driver injured. Sixty-two-year-old Allen Reed of Cameron was taken to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries. The accident happened as Reed and 44-year-old Jeannie Little of Trenton were northbound on US 69, north of Cameron, and Reed slowed to make a left turn and was struck from behind, causing the Reed vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its top.
