The City of Chillicothe is partnering with Life Flight Eagle to provide Transportation for Critical Care patients when the helicopter is unable to fly. The Chillicothe City Council approved an agreement that took nearly two years to complete. City Administrator Darin Chappell says this is good for the community and its residents.
Chappell says this is done in other communities that are served by Life Flight. He says in these situations the city provides the ambulance and the driver and Life Flight will provide all other equipment and personnel.
Chappell says those with memberships don’t pay extra for this.
The council approved the agreement on a vote of 5 to 0.
