An accident on Interstate 35 in Clinton County, involving a MoDOT vehicle, happened just south of Cameron left a MoDOT worker with minor injuries and backed up traffic on the freeway for a while. At about 2:50 pm Thursday, 55-year old William Eaton of Kidder was northbound in the passing land and ran into the back of a MoDOT dump Truck with the attenuator in place. The MoDOT truck was at the location as repairs were being made to the roadway.
Fifty-two-year-old Gary Young of Cameron had minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. Eaton was not injured.
