A 20-year-old Breckenridge man died in an accident Saturday evening and a passenger had serious injuries. Christopher Adams died at the scene of the accident that happened on Route U, 12 miles west of Chillicothe. According to the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Christopher Adams was driving southbound on Route U and ran off the road, overcorrected, crossed the road and hit an embankment, causing the pick-up to go airborne and overturn at least twice.
Nineteen-year-old Trevor Adams had serious injuries and was flown to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. they were not wearing safety belts.
