The Chillicothe Area Arts Council and Missoula Children’s Theater present “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” on the stage of the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center, January 11th. Auditions for the play will be held at the PAC on January 6th, starting at 4:00 pm. 50 to 60 children in Kindergarten to 12th grade will be selected for the cast and crew of the play. Rehearsals will be held beginning that evening and will continue all week, with two performances on Saturday, January 11th.
Missoula Children’s Theater will provide the costumes and the set for the play and a team to help the children learn their parts.
Rehearsals will be about 4 hours each evening, starting at 4:00 pm, and the children are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or snack to eat during their break.
The play will be January 11th at 3:00 and 5:30 pm. Tickets will be $6 for adults and $3 for students. Arts Council members will be admitted with their season pass.
