The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 74 calls for service Friday. The calls included:
8:43 am, Officers performed a well-being check in 900 block of Dickinson Street. All OK.
12:27 pm, Officers checked on an abandoned vehicle on US 65. The vehicle ran out of fuel.
2:02 pm, Report of a possibly disoriented person in the area of the 600 block of Washington Street. Going in and out of businesses. A family member was located for the person.
2:20 pm, Report of a vehicle being driven around & around a parking lot in the 500 block of Park Lane. The subject was found to be driving around to assist with sleeping child.
2:43 pm, Report of damage to grass by a vehicle driven in the yard. The situation to be discussed with the neighbor that caused damage. No report.
6:34 pm, Reported possible harassment by a neighbor in the 10 block of Church Street.
10:20 pm, Well-being check at a home in 100 block of Polk Street after phone call received at PD, with yelling on the caller’s end. Officers checked and everything OK.
10:54 pm, Officer checked on an abandoned vehicle on a parking lot in the 700 block of Milwaukee Street. No record of having been stolen. OK.
Officers also handled numerous traffic stops, continuing investigations and building security checks.
