A single-vehicle accident on Highway 13 near Jameson left a McFall man with minor injuries and he was arrested on numerous charges. State Troopers report at about 10:20 pm, 49-year-old William Perkins was southbound when he attempted to make a right turn on to Kodiak Road. Perkins lost control and his car ran off the west side of the road, struck a fence and the vehicle caught fire. Perkins was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Troopers later arrested Perkins on a list of 13 charges, including alleged two counts of resisting arrest, tampering with a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest by fleeing, driving while revoked or suspended, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, speeding, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, displaying the plates from another vehicle, failure to display valid plates and failure to signal. He was taken to the Harrison County Jail and later released.
