Chillicothe Police handled 79 calls for service Thursday, they included:
9:39 am, Officer performed a motorist assist at S. Washington Street and US 36. The vehicle was broken down and the owner was having it towed.
10:52 am, Officers checked the area of South and Cowgill Streets for C & I driver. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
11:29 am, Officers performed a motorist assist in the area of the 2600 block of N. Washington Street. The vehicle was pushed off the road.
12:26 pm, Officer out at Forrest Lawn Cemetery on an investigation.
12:41 pm, Officer performed a well-being check on a subject. Subject was OK.
3:05 pm, Officers checked a report that a wanted subject had been observed driving a vehicle on Locust Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
3:36 pm, Officers performed a Bicycle Registration public relations event at the Livingston County Library. Bikes were engraved with identifying numbers so they will be easily identified and returned to the owner, should they be lost or stolen.
5:09 pm, An individual turned himself in at the PD on a Municipal warrant for Failure to Register Motor Vehicle. They were processed and released.
5:11 pm, Officer spoke with someone about a dispute over ownership of property. Advised to contact an attorney for the Civil matter.
5:26 pm, Report of C & I driver in the area of Polk and Fair Streets. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
6:17 pm, Officer out in the 800 block of Jefferson Street on a continuing investigation. It was determined that property had been returned to the complainant of a reported theft.
6:36 pm, Officer spoke with someone at the PD in regard to a previously occurring domestic disturbance. Subject advised of judicial options.
