The Chillicothe Lady Hornets basketball team is in action this afternoon when they take on Kansas City Notre Dame de Sion in the Kearney Tournament Girls 3rd place game.
Chillicothe lost their semi-final game to Park Hill by 9 points, while de Sion lost to the host Kearney team 51-37
Chillicothe Girls Coach Darren Smith says the opportunity to play teams like de Sion is why he enjoys coming to the Kearney Tournament.
This will mark the fifth meeting between Chillicothe and Sion, with each team winning twice.
Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 today. The KCHI pre-game show begins at 1:15.
