The Chillicothe Lady Hornets went on a 13-0 run in the first quarter and went on to beat Notre Dame de Sion 44-28 to the third place in the Kearney Tournament on Saturday.
Sion tied the game at 2-2 early in the first quarter. Chillicothe responded with their run and led the rest of the game.
Notre Dame struggled shooting the ball, unofficially finishing 12 of 55 from the floor, including 3 of 31 from three point range.

#35 led her team with nine points and #10 was second in scoring with five points for Notre Dame.
Chillicothe was led by Hunter Keithley with ten points, Essie Hicks and Brooke Horton each with eight points, Jessica Reeter with seven, Jordan Hibner with six, Selby Miller with three, Lucy Reeter with two and playing time for Haley Kidd, Ella Leamer, Ellie Barnett, Clara Leamer and Sophia Luetticke.
