Chillicothe firefighters responded to a report of a camper trailer on fire in the 100 block of Herriford Friday evening. The call came in about 8:25 pm and the fire crew arrived 5 minutes later to find light smoke and flames visible inside the trailer. The fire crew used about 200 gallons of water to put out the fire. They were on the scene for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
