Public hearings for the County Budget and a cell phone tower are on the agenda for the Livingston County Commissioners for Thursday.
The Commission meeting will start at 9:30 am in the Commission Room of the courthouse.
The final public hearing on the 2020 County Budget will start at 10:00 am. The budget will include expenditures near $8 million this year. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says the county approved adding another employee in the Public Administrator’s office, a deputy was added for the Sheriff’s office, there was also a new vehicle for the sheriff’s department and other equipment purchases. In addition, the County switched to a partially self-insured health insurance program.
At 11:00 am they will conduct a public hearing to consider a conditional use permit for an AT&T Tower west of Utica and about a half-mile north of US 36.
Also on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting, at 11:30 am, they will open bids for a Road and Bridge Dump truck and trailer and at 1:00 will open Levee Bids.
