The heavier snowfall amounts should stay to our south and east. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the KCHI listening area until midnight tonight, but National Weather Service Meteorologist Scott Blair says snowfall amounts locally will not be as bad as expected earlier.
He says wind could be a factor, but more for the windchill.
Blair says the snow should end pretty quickly this evening, but a few lingering snowflakes are possible before temperatures begin to warm up for the weekend.
