Smart Connections, a program for parents will begin March 2nd. Mary Taylor, RN and Maternal Child Health Coordinator at the Health Center will be the instructor for the program that is part of the Trauma Smart®. Taylor says Smart Connections is for parents and caregivers to connect, network and enhance skills in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
She says the Smart Connections® class series beginning on Monday, March 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Chillicothe Early Learning Center, located at 900 Coach K Street. Classes will be held Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Topics include: “Managing the Ups & Downs”; “Reading the Signs”; “Creating Comfort”; “Encouraging Growth” and “Creating a Calm Down Spot.” For more information about the program, call the Health Center at 646-5506.
