A single-vehicle accident on Carroll County left two with minor injuries Wednesday morning. At about 10:10 am on Route E, 21-year-old Kelee Hughes of Carrollton was westbound when she began to skid and ran off the road and hit an embankment. Hughes and her 18-year-old passenger, Makenzie Hughes of Carrollton, were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. They were wearing safety belts.
