Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Seventy calls for service were answered by Chillicothe Police Monday.

12:46 am, an officer was at Hedrick Medical Center with a prisoner.  The prisoner was cleared for confinement and transferred to Daviess/DeKalb County Jail to be incarcerated in lieu of charges of DWI and Reckless Driving.

8:27 am, officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle parked in a no parking zone.  Officer checked on the vehicle and determined that it was in need of tire repair.  Contact was made with the owner who was in the process of getting repaired.

10:02 am, Officer out in the 500 block of Waples Street for someone missing items from a residence.  No report at this time.

10:10 am, Subject in the 1300 block of Monroe Street reporting the theft of telephone in Kansas City.  They were advised to contact the jurisdiction where the theft had occurred.

11:21 am, an officer out in the 300 block of Jackson Street obtaining information for an out-of-state law enforcement agency.

2:06 pm, Officer checking on a vehicle that had been parked at the Municipal Airport.  OK.

3:07 pm, Officers checked a report of juveniles trespassing at the old Litton Stadium building.  Officers spoke with the juveniles.

3:38 pm, Officers out at Edgewood Cemetery about a deceased dog had been left at the scene.  Animal Control was contacted and responded to and removed the dog from the scene.

3:49 pm, Officers took a report of identity theft/fraud. A female party spoke to a person over the phone who was claiming to work for a disability agency and was wanting personal information.   The investigation is continuing.

5:37 pm, Officers out in the 1500 block of Bryan Street on possible disturbance involving several juveniles.  No report.  handled by Officers.

10:25 pm, Officers out in the 1600 block of Springhill Road on a noise complaint.  Officers contacted the source of the complaint and advised they would quiet down.
