A traffic stop in Chillicothe resulted in an arrest by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department on drug and distribution charges. Sheriff Steve Cox says on February 6th, deputies arrested 59-year-old James Russell Utley of Chillicothe. As a result of the stop and further investigation, deputies found and seized alleged methamphetamine – packaged for distribution, drug distribution equipment and Xannax.
Utley has since been charged with alleged 2 counts of alleged Delivery of Controlled Substance. He remains in custody with bond set at $7,500.
