The new Chillicothe R-II School District Office is still in the design phase, but Superintendent Dan Wiebers says they are getting closer to having plans they can build from.
Wiebers says they hope to be ready to select a contractor soon and construction can begin this summer. The target for completion is December of this year.
Wiebers reminds the district patrons, the new District Office Building will be constructed with insurance proceeds and is not paid out of the district budget.
