The 2020 National Weather Service Severe Weather Awareness week is March 2nd to the 6. During this time, the National Weather Service will be focusing on several different severe weather safety topics through the week including: preparedness on Monday, tornado safety on Tuesday, lightning safety on Wednesday, hail and wind safety on Thursday, and flood safety on Friday.
During the week we will hear from a National Weather Service Meteorologist about the various aspects of severe weather.
