The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 71 calls for service Wednesday, including helping other departments and agencies.
10:37 am, Officer spoke with someone about retrieving property from evidence.
11:01 am, Officer out in the 800 block of Fairway Drive on a motorist assist.
2:21 pm, Officer made a traffic stop at Baptist Home Lane and N. Washington Street and found the driver was driving with a suspended license. The driver was brought to the PD, processed and released.
4:00 pm, an officer at a business in the 10 block of Elm Street on fraud investigation.
5:04 pm, Officer out in 800 block of Walnut Street about a possible theft. There was no report at the time.
5:40 pm, Officers responded to the storage buildings located in the 200 block of Williams St. on a report of children playing in a storage shed and spraying each other with a fire extinguisher. An informational report was taken.
10:13 pm, Officer spoke a person that was receiving threats through a third party. They were advised of their options.
11:16 pm, Officer checked a report of a constantly barking dog in the 1400 block of McVey. The officer reports no dog barking at the time of checking the area.
