State Troopers reported one accident and one arrest for the local area Thursday.
The accident happened on Missouri 116, west of Polo at about 8:30 pm. The report states 35-year-old Dustin Cope of Excelsior Springs was westbound and attempted to make a turn onto Boulder Road and ran off the side fo the road and his car overturned. Cope was not injured, but his passenger, 32-year-old Cristal Furrey of Polo had minor injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment. They were wearing safety belts.
A Brunswick man was arrested in Saline County Thursday morning. Troopers arrested 26-year-old Nathan Edgington at about 11:25 pm on Saline County warrants for an alleged probation violation and failure to appear. He was held at the Saline County Jail with bond set at $30,000.
