Severe Weather Awareness Week wraps up with information on Flooding. Flooding can happen very quickly and can be deceptively powerful. National Weather Service Meteorologist Jimmy Barham says there are a couple types of flooding. The first is Flash Flooding and this can happen very quickly.
Barham says when roads are flooded, what looks calm and harmless could be very dangerous.
Barham says when you see floodwaters, turn around and don’t drown.
