A 72-year-old Braymer man died of injuries after he was thrown from his vehicle in an accident Thursday afternoon in Caldwell County. Russell S Coldiron of Braymer was flown to Liberty hospital following the accident on Route E, south of Braymer. State Troopers report Coldiron was northbound at about 3:50 pm and did not make it through a curve. He ran off the road, overcorrected and his vehicle began to overturn before it struck an embankment. The vehicle overturned several times and Coldiron was ejected. He was not wearing a safety belt.
