A carnival in Simpson Park was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday. The Carnival will be held May 14th to the 17th. Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce Director Crystal Narr made the presentation at Monday’s meeting and says it is the same company as last year. She says they had planned for this be coincide with the end of the school year, but the school calendar change. Narr explained the planned hours of the event.
She says the company has agreed to keep the heavy equipment off the grassy areas.
The request for the carnival was approved with a unanimous vote.
