Carrollton Police and Military officials responded to a report of a military explosive ordnance in the possession of a Carrollton resident. Carrollton Police Chief Christopher Looney says officers received the call Monday and checked the device that was in a vehicle at a private business. Information was passed along to the Military Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit at Whiteman Air Force Base. They determined it was a military piece. The area around the vehicle was blocked off until the item could be collected for proper disposal.
