The City of Chillicothe will have very few regular street projects this year, as they are conducting an assessment of the streets with an engineering firm. City Administrator Darin Chappell says this project will start very soon.
Chappell says some work is already planned and ready to go.
The city will also handle several maintenance issues on the streets, in preparation for the list that will be prepared following the assessment.
Chappell says there is one “Permanent Street Project” this year. He says those are funded separately from other street work.
The Mitchell Road project will be done in stages to allow continued access to the various businesses on Mitchell Road.
