An accident and a couple of arrests are in the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol for Monday.
In Harrison County, a Bethany man was injured and arrested Monday evening. At about 5:40 pm on Route W, north of Bethany, 62-year-old Duane Belcher was northbound when he ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and skidded across both laned and off the left side and into the ditch, where his car overturned several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Belcher was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. He was also arrested for alleged DWI-persistent offender, careless and imprudent driving and no insurance. He was released for medical care.
State Troopers in Gentry County arrested a Milan man at about 2:30 am Monday. 17-year-old Heber Agular of Milan was arrested on a Gentry County warrant for alleged assault and armed criminal action and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond set at $4950.
