Precautions taken at the Grand River Multipurpose Center for the COVID-19 Coronavirus resulted in changes for the meals served.
Beginning today, the center will have NO Congregate meal. They will continue with the home-delivered meals as usual this week. Drivers will sanitize between clients.
The meal coordinator Teresa Sykes says:
- If you are a congregate client and can drive and need a meal, you can call in, give your name, pick up and take it home.
- If you are a congregate client and can not drive they are adding those clients to the home-delivered routes.
Sykes says they are taking care of our current clients and new clients will need to call to inquire about services. If you have questions call 646-1555.
If you are interested in helping with delivery of meals, contact Sykes for more information. With the increased deliveries, they will need additional drivers.
