he residents of Chillicothe may have noticed some changes in how the Chillicothe Police Department is handling the day to day business. Chief Jon Maples says they needed to make some of the changes.
Maples says the changes started with health and safety.
He says they are also starting their shift by taking temperatures to detect any increased chances of having or spreading the virus.
He says there are also some changes in how the officers respond to some of the calls.
Chief Maples says they will still respond to emergency situations and will still be patrolling the community. Traffic stops will be made and tickets will be issued.
